Commercial Fire
Our local State Park had a fire in a maintenance shed, and it caused quite some damage. Look at the soot webs shown in the before photo. Those are not cob webs, these webs are a reaction between the soot and the environment. They are caused by the sticky soot rising and clinging to a corner surface. These were cleaned, as sown in the after photo, however the fire was so intense, the metal screws and materials used in the wall actually heated up and burned the walls. We advised that these walls be replaced, or painted over. SERVPRO professionals are experts at cleaning up sticky soot, so let us do the hard work and bill your insurance for you!
